Sesam is the authors' answer to multimedia challenges

 
SESAM is the umbrella organization for societies of authors in the visual arts (ADAGP), music (Sacem), drama (SACD) and documentary works (SCAM). Its purpose is to handle rights for works of the above repertoires used in multimedia.

SESAM has no repertoire of its own and no direct members, but has the exclusive authority to represent and administer the repertoire of its member societies of authors.

What is SESAM commissioned to do?

  • Set rates suited for the various uses of works in multimedia
  • Deliver authorizations required for using works in digital media and on the Internet
  • Collect and distribute rights for member societies
  • Identify works and rights-holders in the various fields of artistic creation
  • Monitor the actual use of works at every stage, from development to marketing.

SESAM offers you the possibility to apply on-line for authorizations to use works on your websites.
