The Social Affairs Department offers social follow-up of members:
  • management of RAES (Régime d'Allocations d'entraide de la Sacem)
  • contingency and Solidarity Funds

It advises and guides authors regarding their complementary pension plans (IRCEC and RACL) and their Social Security plan: AGESSA (Association pour la Gestion de la Sécurité Sociale des Auteurs).

It also manages SMACEM (Société Mutualiste des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Editeurs de Musique) and the Comité du Cœur (State-approved Aid Association).

Solidarity

The rSA (active solidarity income), CMU (Universal Medical Coverage) and access to the Commission de surendettement in case of excessive debt  are all open to creators. Consequently, members whose income does not entitle them to join AGESSA can nonetheless get protection.

This social protection is open to everyone, but each person must file an individual request with the Service Social of the Mairie of their residence.
