SACEM Regulatory Committees

Committee members are responsible for assessing the validity of documents submitted : musical compositions, with or without lyrics, and written texts for dubbing or sub-titling film and video works originally made in languges other than French. They examine supporting attachments required for allocating and distributing rights on works. If need be, they can request additional information from rights-holders, and contact parties that may be in disagreement.

Committe members submit proposals to the Board of Directors, in line with technical developments changing the way works registred in the repertoire are used, so that the committee and departments concerned cancarry out their duties for SACEM.

The committee is responible for all questions in the area of symphonic music and chamber music.

The committee is responsible for all questions in the area of TV, film and video productions, and submits proposals to the Board of Directors.
