Arlette Tabart, general secretary
In radio
That was the station where she began her career, working with Pierre Delanoë and Lucien Morisse.
She went from secretary, to producer, to programmer and presenter, finally ending up in charge of programming. She launched hit programs : Dans le vent, firdt with Michel Cogoni then later Hubert, Campus with Michel Lancelot, programs hosted by Jacques Brel and the Brel-Brassens "entretiens'" (talks), the Hit Parade and the first Hit des clubs with Ils font chanter le monde for French authors and composers, and the "Babar and the Programmers" magazine featuring the latest music, which she ran with her team.
She was against any gaps or divides between generations or genres, and, and set up a program that was a free forum named "I saw the light was on, and just came in...", a nighttime hootenanny where many paths crossed - Baden Powell and Sylvie Vartan ( She turned them into a duo), Samson François (as a jazz drummer), Michel Audiard, Eddy Mitchell, Dalida, Françoise Hardy and more. People came to sing and chat, to listen to the latest mix edited in the studio, or just for a drink.
Her broad scope for programming and discoveries ranged from accordion stars to the Rolling Stones, from Claude François to Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, from Barbara's Cahier de chansons to Coluche, from Laurent Voulzy to new talents found at the San Remo Festival, and others emerging from weekly auditions (names such as Line & Willy), plus young and sometimes "boisterous" author and composers (e.g. Claude Lemesle, Etienne Roda-Gil, Jean-Pierre Bourtayre, and Jean-Pierre Lang).
RMC:
In 1980, she spent a short time with RMC, together with Coluche and Romain Goupil. They were contarcted for a few months, but after ten days were "kicked out" ; mockery had not yet been accepted by the media.
Radios FM:
She was artistic adviser to Radio Mont-Blanc, and went on to become program director for Radio Nostalgie, in 1987.
In Television
She coordinated Eddy Marnay's portrait piece for Les coulisses de la création.
